Water that changes lives

Since 2015, Action Solidarité Côte d’Ivoire has been bringing safe drinking water to the most remote villages. And wherever a need appears, we build, we heal, we feed and we support families.

Our priority

Water first

In remote villages, water is not a comfort: it is health, school and harvests. More than fifty wells and hydraulic boreholes have already been built across the territory. Since 2019, we have replaced traditional wells with mechanised boreholes connected to a water tower. Water flows straight from a tap, families save time, and irrigating small gardens becomes possible.

  • Tap fountains connected to the water tower
  • Water tested by an approved laboratory before commissioning
  • Trained management committee and maintenance fund

Our method in four steps

A village is never equipped without being listened to first. Every step is followed and documented.

  1. Diagnosis with the village

Listening, visiting the village, choosing the site together.

  2. Borehole and water tower

Prospecting, drilling, pumping test, pump, 5 m³ tank and standpipes.

  3. Tested water

Analysis by an approved laboratory before commissioning.

  4. Management committee

8 trained members, at least 40% women, a maintenance fund.

After handover, we return to check each facility at 3, 6 and 12 months.
